These are film photos from my home, the Midwest. I’m from eastern Iowa, attended college in Southeast Minnesota, spent the better part of a year as an assistant land manager in Minnesota, and am now a graduate student in Chicago, Illinois. Much of my photography depicts the driftless area of Northeast Iowa, Southeast Minnesota, and Southwest Wisconsin. I also love other Midwest ecosystems like the big woods, great lakes, and tallgrass prairie. I find midwestern landscapes to be too often overlooked and too seldom appreciated. Show the Midwest some love! We need it.
